TGMAs 2024: Five categories to keep an eye on, along with the nominations

This Saturday, June 1 at 7 p.m., is Ghana's greatest music night—the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs). As fans anxiously anticipate the victory of their favorite singer in the categories for which they have been nominated, all roads will lead to the Accra International Conference.

The Saturday night acts and the VIP and Premium ticket tiers have also been announced by the TGMAs organizers. King Promise seems to be the front-runner in the heated discussions regarding who will win the coveted Artiste of the Year prize. He will, however, be up against opposition from Nacee, a newbie to the prize, as well as two-time winner Sarkodie, Kuami Eugene, Stonebwoy, and Black Sherif. 

Not to worry, though; there are other categories to consider as well, such as Songwriter of the Year, Dancehall Reggae Artist of the Year, Gospel Artist of the Year, and Best Rapper of the Year. In these five categories, which nominee will win on Saturday night? Artiste
