Following Sunday's downpour, a segment of the Ofankor-Taifa Junction saw flash flooding.

 Rains that began this morning have caused flash flooding in parts of Accra, including the Ofankor-Taifa Junction stretch. The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMA) reported that the moderate rainstorm originated in Nigeria and impacted the southern regions of Ghana with varying degrees of rainfall and strong winds.

Flash flooding has occurred in several areas of Accra, notably the Ofankor-Taifa Junction section, as a result of the rains that started this morning. The moderate downpour, according to the Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMA), had its origins in Nigeria and affected parts of Ghana's south with high gusts and various levels of rainfall. 

 On the Ofankor-Taifa Junction road, a number of cars were partially flooded, and some drivers preferred the areas of the road that weren't completely underwater. Owners of some submerged automobiles were observed pushing them when they broke down.The rainstorm had an especially negative impact on low-lying parts of the capital, 

inundating highways and generating inconveniences.Additionally, the GMA issued a warning on other southern regions, including as Hohoe, Kpandoe, Keta, Aflao, Dodze, Kpong, Mafi Kumase, Tema, Dodowa, Madina, Koforidua, Pokuase, Kasoa, Haatso, Kumasi, Mankessim, Cape Coast, Saltpond, Takoradi, Tarkwa, and Obuasi, experienced similar weather conditions and potential flooding.Koforidua, Pokuase, Kasoa, Haatso, Kumasi, Mankessim, Cape Coast, Saltpond, Takoradi, Tarkwa, and Obuasi, saw comparable weather conditions and probable floods.
