2 dead in motorsports crash at Okanagan race track

RCMP According to the police, two persons passed away while participating in an event at a South Okanagan racetrack. Officers were called to a single car crash at Oliver's Area 27 Motorsports Park on Wednesday, June 5, around 5:30 p.m.

Tragically, both the driver and passenger succumbed to injuries they sustained,” Cpl. James Grandy, BC RCMP spokesperson, said. “Criminality is not believed to be factor, and the matter is now being investigated by the BC Coroner Service.”
